Musketeers Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Musketeers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-0 loss to Henryville on Tuesday. Henryville scored on a walk by Pirrmann, a single by Buysman, and a passed ball in the second inning.
Henryville took an early lead in the second inning. Pirrmann drove in a run when he walked with the bases loaded.
One bright spot for Musketeers was a single by Payton Miller in the fourth inning.
Miller , Rhett Pennington , Ridge Hall, and Brant Stewart all had one hit to lead Musketeers. Musketeers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Hunter Anderson had the most chances in the field with eight.
Henryville had 11 hits in the game. Buysman, Roth, Marcum, and Badger each collected multiple hits for Henryville. Henryville was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Marcum made the most plays with ten.
