Game Recap

The Eastern boys basketball team had their first road test tonight when they traveled to West Washington to take on the Senators. Both teams got off to solid starts, exchanging blows through much of the first quarter. Matt Coats and Ridge Hall got going offensively for the Musketeers early, combining for nine of the team’s 12 first quarter points. West Washington was able to put together a late run in the first half to take a 35-25 lead into halftime. The Senators started the 3rd quarter much like they ended the first half, building on their lead. Poor shooting and costly turnovers would ultimately prove too much for the Musketeers to overcome. They would fall to the Senators by a final score of 76-48.
The Musketeers will be back on the road again next Friday when they travel to take on the Wolfpack of Crawford County.
