Musketeers Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Musketeers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 14-3 loss to Lanesville on Friday. Lanesville scored on a single by M. Bailey and a home run by Harvey in the first inning.
Lanesville took an early lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning M. Bailey drove in one run when he singled.
Lanesville scored six runs in the third inning. Lanesville’s big inning was driven by a single by Lockman, a single by Peele, a single by McCubbins, and a double by Bailey.
Clayton Purlee and Brant Stewart each drove in one run to lead Musketeers. Musketeers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Purlee had the most chances in the field with four.
Lanesville had 19 hits in the game. Peele, Bailey, McCubbins, Fink, Tidstrom, Lockman, and Harvey each collected multiple hits for Lanesville. Lanesville was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Peele had the most chances in the field with nine.
