News · Girls Basketball at Charlestown and New Washington


The girls basketball team will be in action this Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  I will add information about Lanesville once I receive it.  Any updates will be added as we receive them.

On Tuesday– the girls will travel to Charlestown for a MSC contest.  JV game time is 6pm.

Here is the information for attending at Charlestown due to COVID restrictions:

Visiting Team:
Tickets will be limited to household only and must follow the health department guideline for immediate
household members of student athletes. Essential personnel will be allowed as well, but will need to be emailed
to Chad Gilbert 24 hours prior to the event (limited to school administrators, book keeper, bus driver).
**Anyone that attends an event at CHS must sign in at the gate and include the athletes name that lives
in your household.**
Facial Coverings:
 Facial coverings are required for entry into all events. Masks must remain on for the entire event
unless eating or drinking.
Seating/Viewing Areas:
 Social distancing must be observed unless sitting by your immediate family.
 Fans are encouraged to spread out in the bleacher area.
Restroom Usage Capacity:
 Masks must be worn.
 Please follow social distancing guidelines.
Concession Stand Service:
 No outside food will be allowed on premises
 Masks must be worn.
 Concessions will be available. All items will be pre-packaged and handed to customers.
 Cash will be used at the concessions, exact change is preferred.
Tickets/Season Passes:
 Due to capacity limits, no season passes will be sold this year.
 Door 32(main gym entrance) will be used for entrances and exits.
Post Event Procedures:
 No outside food or drinks are allowed
 Eating postgame meal will not be allowed on premises
 Please exit the building through Door 32 immediately following the conclusion of the event.
 If you are waiting for your child, you must wait for them in the parking lot inside your vehicle.
 No one should congregate on school property after the events.

According to the Clark County Health Department, spectators shall not exceed parents and immediate
household members of student athletes and essential personnel. We will have a list of the people that will be
allowed to enter the school. If you are not on the list, you will not be allowed to enter the building.
