Volleyball Cancer Awareness Night 9/30/13 “PINK OUT”

EHS Volleyball will host Salem on Monday 9/30/13.  The volleyball team will honor friends and loved ones who are currently fighting or have recently fought breast cancer.  Help us honor them by wearing pink to the game for our “PINK OUT” celebration.  

Warriors defeat Lady Musketeers

In volleyball last night, both teams played well against the more experienced Christian Academy players but were defeated.  The 7th grade team was defeated 25-9, 25-19.  The 8th grade team was defeated 25-12, 25-11. Next contest:  Mid Southern Conference Tournament @ Salem, September 28.

Musketeers defeat Crawford County

The boys’ tennis team completed a winning week of tennis last night by defeating Crawford County 4-1.  The win improves the team’s record to 6-3 with two home matches remaining next week.   Individual match scores: #1 Singles – Mason Moore lost 5-8 #2 Singles – Clayton Purlee won 8-2 #3 Singles – Michael Smith

Boys Cross Country Wins Paoli Invitational

The boys cross country team brought home a first place team trophy from the Paoli Invitational on Thursday, September 26. It was the boys’ first team first place finish of the season. Eleven teams attended the meet, including Mitchell, Northeast Dubois, and Crawford County. Khalil McDaniel also won the race, finishing first out of 67

Musketeer XC Teams finish 3rd and 5th

East Washington Middle School hosted their cross country invitational last night with ten teams attending.   The boys cross country team finished 3rd overall.  Scoring for the Musketeers were Caleb Futter 6th place, Noah Futter 12th place, Connor Dawson 19th place, Brandon Sill 34th place, Uriah Guthrie 35th place, Nathaniel Endris 37th place, and Andrew McCarty

Musketeer Tennis defeat MSC Teams

The middle school boys tennis team won two in a row this week by defeating conference foes Clarksville 5-0 and Brownstown 4-1. MS Volleyball Teams split with Henryville

The Lady Musketeers split with the Lady Hornets  @ East Washington Middle School Gymnasium Monday night.  The 7th grade team lost the first set, but came back and won the next two to defeat Henryville 24-25, 25-23, 15-12.  The 8th grade team won the first set but lost the next two sets by the scores
