The ladies were able to maintain a small lead throughout the first half by maintaining their defensive pressure that fans have come to expect. Charlestown only put 15 points on the board in the first half. However, the ladies struggled to score too, and went to the locker room with 18 points.

When the second half started, Charlestown made adjustments and began to build a lead. At one point in the fourth, the Musketeers found themselves down double digits before they made their run. The key moment was when Caylie Graves hit a three, which built the momentum for the girls to tie the score at 41.

Isabell Claywell hit another three at the beginning of the overtime. Throughout the night, Shelbi Patton kept the game within reach by finding a way to get to the free throw line. She made extraordinary efforts in the fourth and overtime. She was fifteen for twenty from the line for the night and finished with 23 points. The ladies record is now 11 and 7.
