Eastern (Pekin) watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 5-4 loss to North Harrison on Monday. North Harrison scored on a error in the first inning and a single by Dawson Howell in the second inning.

North Harrison got things started in the first inning. An error scored two runs for North Harrison.
Ben Davis earned the win for North Harrison. He went six and a third innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking one. Isaiah Lawson threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Lawson recorded the last two outs to earn the save for North Harrison.
Payton Miller took the loss for Eastern (Pekin). He went six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking one.
Eastern (Pekin) saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. Snyder Pennington, Landon Snelling, and Cauy Motsinger each collected multiple hits for the Musketeers. S.Pennington led Eastern (Pekin) with three hits in four at bats.
North Harrison collected seven hits. Howell and Davis all managed multiple hits for North Harrison. Howell went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead North Harrison in hits.
