Eastern (Pekin) Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 14-4 loss to Silver Creek on Monday. Silver Creek scored on a home run by Wheeler and a groundout by Hawkins in the first inning.
The Eastern (Pekin) struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Silver Creek, giving up 14 runs. The Musketeers would add to that fire by committing 5 errors and having 12 strikeouts at the plate.
