Friday night’s game saw the ladies start in a close battle with the Lady Cougars. At the end of the first quarter, the Musketeers were up 13 – 12. The second quarter was just as close. With a little over a second left in the half, the score was deadlocked at 25. Coach McBride called a timeout and drew up a play that the girls executed with perfection. Kendra Sill drained a three from the corner and the Musketeers headed to the locker room with a 28-25 lead.

Unfortunately, the final period was plagued with turnovers and an inability to score. The Cougars outscored the Musketeers 19 – 7. The game ended with the Musketeers having a chance to make a three to tie the game that wouldn’t go in.
